This Chipmunk has the superb heft and clarity that is a hallmark of Steuben with raised paws, detailed glistening eyes and ears, it is a larger figuirne at approx. 6″ tall by 3″ and over 3lbs. This vintage piece is new in original box with no chips, no cracks, no scratches and NO display scratches or base bottom wear, correctly signed “Steuben” in diamond point script on the base bottom. With it’s very fine condition original Steuben box, flannel protector bag and care booklet. Displays well with it’s buddy the Steuben Squirrel. Similar in size and weight to the Donald Pollard large Owl. You will be thrilled with this beautiful art glass. It was the world’s foremost artisan glass house. Steuben was hand made by American craftsmen at the works in Corning NY. Because it was hand made, each piece is unique. Steuben glass was frequently the United States’ gift of State to foreign dignitaries. Steuben marketed no seconds.
