STUNNING VINTAGE LARGE BLACK SHEEP ART GLASS CASED PAPERWEIGHT PERFUME BOTTLE. This is a large heavy paperweight style blown perfume bottle with stopper. It is a beautiful piece of contemporary American hand-made studio art glass created by the glass artists at Blacksheep Glass, which is today known as Leslie Wilton Art Glass and located in Escondido, California. This is an extremely high-quality piece of art glass. I believe this is a cased piece with at least a couple of layers of glass. Imbedded deep within the glass are colorful pieces of Dichroic Glass, blue and white Millefiore flowers and green colored glass vines. There are even pieces of Dichroic Glass and white Millefiore flowers in the top of the stopper. FYI – The first two photos of this piece are taken with bright light from behind (backlit), the reminder taken in natural light with no backlighting. It is just stunningly beautiful!! This piece has been in my personal collection since 2006, when I bought it new at Bellagio in Asheville, North Carolina. Please note: the faint spots you may see in the photos are from my camera and are not on the glass. The perfume is artist ground and polished on the underside so it sits flat and level. It is also signed on edge of the bottle near the bottom Blacksheep Glass 2004 and retains the original factory sticker on the bottom. This is a fine example and gorgeous as you can see from the photos! I do my best to describe all items as accurately as possible and to the best of my ability. Some of my photos may be somewhat lighter or darker than actual to better show detail or color. It is in pristine original condition. Please look closely at the photos as they are an important part of my description of this item. There no chips, flea bites, cracks, scratches, hairlines or repairs. There has never been any liquid inside the bottle, so no cloudiness to the glass. Please keep in mind these photos can be blown up at least 8X-10X times normal, so anything you see will look 8X-10X times larger in the photos than it really is. Please note: if you see a dark spot in the photos it is from my camera and is not a mark on the piece. It will be either just to the right of center towards the bottom or slightly above center on the right side of the photo. About 3.25 (8.3 cm) in diameter and sits about 6.25 (15.9 cm) off the table at the top of the stopper. About 1 pound 12.375 ounces (806 grams).
