Richard Rick Satava ROCK ROSES Paperweight 1995 Hand Signed Excellent Condition! Rick Satava has produced different natural series of paperweights, petroglyphs and the Jellyfish being the most well known two series he has created. In the middle 1990’s, he designed and produced some floral weights with what were referred to as rock roses. These are quite difficult to find. This paperweight has two gorgeous roses which are a deep pinky fuchsia in color. There are spidery leaves which drape around the glass globe and the base is a lovely contrasting iridescent deep/blue green which catches the light. Each flower has a delicate orange center. The design is encased in shimmering clear crystal with outstanding magnification. The base has his etched signature with the numbers 154-95. This weight is considered magnum, measuring approximately 3+ inches across at its widest point. The overall condition of this paperweight is excellent, truly a prize to add to someone’s paperweight collection.
