On offer here is a vintage 1940/50s paperweight from master glassmaker Paul Ysart High-domed 4-row concentric over clear centred by an 8-lobed white/blue cane (black centre) 3 rows of millefiori canes are encircled by a continuous garland, sections of twisted white latticinio separated by translucent ruby. Large rough pontil mark in the concave, fire-polished base. Slight greyish tint to the glass. Attributed to early 1940/50 Moncrieff period. Top condition: no cracks, chips, bruises or fleabites Measurements: D: 80mm (3 1/8″); H: 59mm (2 5/16″). The articles I sell are mostly antique or pre-owned.
