Beautiful, Large, Paperweight signed ALT Murano Vetreria Artistica 1970’s? Murano glass is made from many Millefiori canes. The Glass Eye Studio Kaleidoscope-GES 98 Art Glass Paperweight is a hand-blown glass paperweight made by Glass Eye Studio in Seattle. The paperweight features a blue swirl pattern and is signed by the artist. It is an original piece from the late 20th century, specifically 1999. The production technique used is art glass and it is a handmade product.
4 inches tall – 3.5 inch diameter – this modern art glass column with one flat side and large bubble is signed “Barbini”. There is also a clear sticker on the bottom that says “Barbini” – but is very hard to read. The paperweight weighs over 3 pounds! Beautiful addition to your collection of art glass.
This beautiful Antique Clichy glass paperweight features a stunning concentric Millefiori design, including 2 Rose & 1 Moss Canes. There is a pad made of rods of twisted filigree side by side visible from the bottom, and 37 well centered canes are set on top of a dense layer of upset muslin. Originating from France in the 1840s-50s, It measures about 3 1/4″ wide and about 2 1/2″ tall. Crafted with high-quality glass, this paperweight is an early handmade original from the renowned Clichy factory. The weight features a polished pontile, and It is a true antique piece that has been carefully preserved with only normal ware and light surface scraches, it is in excellent condition with its original finish.
