Rare Vintage Paul Ysart H Cane Harland Studio Art Glass Hand Blown Paperweight. Here’s a hand blown art glass paperweight by Paul Ysart. The paperweight which features millefiore canes set on a white muslin ground measures 70 mm in diameter. The paperweight is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks or damage jst some very light wear scratches around the contact points on the base rim. The paperweight has a cane with the letter’H’ running through it indicating that it was blown at the Harland studio in Scotland during the 1970s. Beautiful and large Southern New Jersey Paperweight Inkwell. Circa 1890 and made at the Whitall Tatum Glassworks, Millville, New Jersey. This example has a rough pontil and a large foot with a secondary ring above it sometimes referred to as a Mariah’s ring. The height is about 9 and 3/4 inches and the width of the sphere at the base is approximately 3 and 3/4 inches. The colors are quite beautiful and the condition is very clean with very minor normal wear. The umbrellas have wonderful form and color, and the designs are centered perfectly within the glass. Many of these umbrellas have been attributed to John Rhulander. One of the few known expert glassblowers at the Millville Factory.
