This is a very high quality Murano weight. The weight is a hemispherical double overlay rose paperweight. The overlays have been cut in a six and one pattern, with all punties ground concave. The bottom has been ground flat and polished. The rose is constructed of pink translucent glass over opaque white petals. There are also three leaves made of green translucent glass over opaque white. There is a false 1885 date cane in the base. The overlays are in opaque white and cranberry and are matte finish.
