For sale is a really unusual, whimsical Degenhart Columbus, OH vintage airplane glass paperweight. Features a charming one-of-a-kind folky rendering of an old fashion propeller-driven plane with pilot! Measures 3 1/8″ in diameter and 2 1/8″ tall. In overall excellent, clean and shiny condition. It does have a horizontal internal crack located at top, above the airplane and does not extend to outside surface. This type of crack is I believe is part of the handmade manufacturing process. Does not affect view of plane label and only apparent when viewed at certain upper side angle. Expected very light use/age wear underneath and a few tiny, fine scratches seen upon close inspection under light mentioned for the sake of accuracy. Will make an excellent addition to your collection.
This is a stunning iridescent threaded pulled feather paperweight made by Terry Crider in 1987. This piece measures 3 1/8″ wide x 2 1/2″ tall and is signed (etched) on the bottom. Pictures don’t quite capture the beauty of this piece.
