Eric Brakken Art Glass Paperweight 5.5 Orchid Design Signed 1993
This beautiful hand-blown glass paperweight by the glass artist Eric Brakken of a striking reddish Orchid against a blue and green glass foundation with filaments appearing to spread as roots or other parts of the orchid is signed by Eric and dated 1993. On the bottom is etched WSF3040. The paperweight measures 5″ tall, 3″ in diameter at the widest part and weighs 2 pounds, 8 ounces. It is in excellent condition (see photos and video).

Vintage Italian Murano Art Glass Aquarium Fish Paperweight
Presenting a stunning vintage Murano glass aquarium paperweight masterfully hand crafted by a talented Italian glass artist. This striking example features two beautifully formed fish to opposing sides of a central coral formation encased within the solid clear glass block. The well defined fish have striped bodies rendered in blue, orange and aqua with flowing vibrant red fins and tails. Each fish is beautifully detailed with black and white eyes and a little white mouth. The rich cobalt blue central formation is beautifully detailed with vibrant mottles of coral orange and turquoise, the radiant colours spectacularly radiating throughout the glass. The solid glass acts like a lens magnificently magnifying and distorting the light and colours to create striking optical effects. Add threetreefrogs to favourites. EXQUISITE MURANO GLASS AQUARIUM PAPERWEIGHT. Randomly sized encapsulated air bubbles add a dazzling jewel-like sparkle to the glass. SIZE: This delightful piece stands approx 75mms tall, measures 80mms in length and 55mms in width. WEIGHT: This paperweight weighs 520 grams unpackaged. CONDITION: This piece is presented in good vintage condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. There is one small but rather deep scratch to the top shoulder of the paperweight which does not detract from the beauty of this piece. Sufficient light surface scratches to the base help authenticate this is a genuinely vintage example. This piece has been well cared for and presents wonderfully.
