For your consideration is a fascinating Josh Simpson, art glass paperweight/sphere. It measures approximately 1 7/8 inches in diameter. There is a two toned purple twisted spaceship- satellite that is close to the top. Multi colored patches appear on the surface that look like mountains and anemones. You see tones of blue, black, red and green. There are also some geometric sections. Several areas have dichroic inclusions which add gold, black, blue and green sparkles. A large bubble transporter contributes to the drama of this piece. This sphere is from Simpson’s “inhabited planet” series. It is an amazing creation and fun to study. The sphere is in good condition without cracks or chips. The bottom reads: JS 03. Its a wonderful sphere and would be a great addition to your signed art glass collection.
