Striking and lovely hand made heavy blown art glass paperweight measuring 7-1/2 in height. Signed SATAVA 1840-09 for artist Rick Satava, it features an amazing opalescent Jellyfish suspended within the glass – dome shape and narrowed base conform to the long tendrils – beautiful! Accented with metallic gold curls around the Jellyfish edge, opalescent cap appears to be cased with another dome – guessing this is extremely difficult to create. Condition is excellent with no chips, cracks, hairlines, repairs, discoloration or damage – it has been loved and well cared for – a gorgeous piece of art glass and a wonderful addition to any collection or display!
