This Vintage Antique Matte Millefiori Paperweight comes from Murano, the glass making island of Venice. It features many millefiori within a tightly packed paperweight. It stands roughly 2 1/4 tall and has a rough diameter of 3 inches. I have had this paperweight for a few decades but do not know how old it actually is. I somehow do not think the 1852 murrine is the year if manufacturing. My guess would be the 1970’s. I have had it since the 1990’s and it was old then.
