Perthshire Paperweight Bowl with End of Day Center and Striated Canes along Side. Its base is a scrambled weight also known as end of day, and it is an early production because of the large letter P in its center. Most attractive is the depth and capacity of the bowl. It is almost 2 and 3/4 inches making it useful as a candy or condiment accessory. Each of the Perthshire bowls were created from paperweights at the factory in Crieff. This one is most unusual because of the additional detail on the bowl sides, white latticinio rods running upwards, all ending in a matching cobalt blue rimming. I do believe it is unique because of these characteristics. Its condition is excellent, a very pretty bowl indeed. The remnants of its Perthshire paperweight paper label still can be seen on its base in my photos.
