It is a very thick & heavy glass vase 6″ x 4″ at the opening. In excellent, like new condition, not damage at all. Artist signed: Alexander, Orient Flume & 0311UB of 90 made in 94. A fabulous piece for a serious collector. Ed was an artist extraordinaire, working as a glass blower at Orient & Flume Art Glass for 20 years. His tender soul & eye for beauty made him a gifted artist in many mediums. Ed was an expert in Northern CA Native American culture, history, art & spirituality. He was welcomed into many tribes because they saw “he was one of them” & was taught a myriad of Native American skills & arts by the tribal elders. Ed also shared his knowledge with children while working as a naturalist in the San Francisco Bay Area. He was a true lover of all nature, making connection with wild animals that most of us can never imagine.
