For your consideration is a charming, Josh Simpson, art glass paperweight/sphere. It measures 2 inches in diameter. There is a grey twisted cane spaceship that is close to the top. (hard to see but look closely at photos 2, 3, and 7) Tiny controlled bubbles are left in its trail. Multi colored patches appear on the surface that look like underwater anemones and landforms. You see tones of blue, green, yellow and purple. Isolated bubbles add to the drama of this piece. This sphere is from Simpson’s “inhabited planet” series. It is a very fascinating creation and fun to study. The sphere is in good condition without cracks, scratches or chips. The bottom reads: JS 95.
