For your consideration is a wonderful, Josh Simpson, art glass paperweight. It measures 12 inches in circumference and stands just a little over 5.5 inches tall. There are a two (2) flower shaped satellites. Multi colored patches and shapes appear on the surface that look like large anemones and landforms. Multi sized bubbles add to the drama of this piece. Two patches of sparkling gold iridescence can also be seen. This paperweight is from Simpson’s “inhabited planet” series. It is one of the MOST FASCINATING creations I have ever listed. The piece is in Great condition without cracks, scratches or chips. The flat bottom reads: Simpson, 10-20-03. It is a fabulous planet and would be a wonderful addition to your signed art glass collection. Josh Simpson added 3 small acrylic pads have been applied to the bottom to retard scratching.
