A fabulous example of the work of famous glass artist Josh Simpson. This is one of his larger mega planet paperweights. It contains all of his signature traits, including iridescence, satellites, intricate colors and shapes. It is 3 and 3/8 inches tall and almost 4 in diameter. No scratches or chips. Signed and dated 1-10-07 on the bottom. The bottom also shows where the punty broke off when it was made, which is unusual for the artist, but in no way affects the beauty and condition of the glass.
