The weights pay tribute to their antique predecessors by Baccarat in the 1800s which incorporated similar whimsical animal canes in their design. Often referred to as Gridel weights, this particular set of lovebirds sit on top of an opaque green ground and include several examples of the gridel canes as well as groupings of complex canes.
